St. Paul's PACE is so much more than a medical program. Our senior day centers are designed to make seniors feel safe and valued while providing essential care, nourishment, companionship, and meaningful activities for the whole person.

St. Paul's PACE has four medical clinics — also referred to as wellness centers — in San Diego, three of which include senior day centers. While participants are at the wellness center for medical appointments, they can enjoy engaging day center activities like musical entertainment, craft projects, exercise programs, and holiday celebrations.

Our social and recreational activities are designed to be enjoyable, relaxing, and good for your overall health — many aim to improve memory, enhance coordination, and boost mood.
If you need special assistance while in our day center, our trained staff will support you with discretion and compassion — including private spa rooms for personal care like incontinence management and grooming. In addition to activities, we also provide a delicious and nutritious three-course lunch every day.

With St. Paul's PACE, all services are provided at no cost* to you if you have Medi-Cal or a combination of Medi-Cal and Medicare. If your health team deems you need care that Medicare and Medi-Cal do not cover, St. Paul's PACE may still cover it.
*Those with a Medi-Cal share of cost remain responsible for payment.
